“You’re welcome.” She laced their fingers and led both of them to the main entrance where there was a man dressed with a suit. “Can I help you with something, ladies?” He asked politely. “Yes, I have a reservation for today. My name is Jadelyn DeLuca.” The man clicked many times on his computer, which Jade found absurd since she talked to him just a couple of hours ago. “Oh, here you are, Miss DeLuca. Your table for two is ready. Follow me.”
Jade threw a smile to Cat, walking through many tables she saw a lot of people dressed with fancy clothing and lots of jewerly. “Here’s your table. A waiter will come to take your order. Hope you enjoy the place.” He said leaving the two of them alone. Jade grinned looking at the place they had. It had enough lighting, not too lighted not to dark, there weren’t many people around the table. It was comfortable just for the two of them.
She pulled a chair so Car could sit, and once she sat, she softly took the little box, opening it and putting the necklace around Cat’s neck. “I hope you like it.” She whispered, giving her a soft kiss on her shoulder and sitting in the empty chair in front of her.
Cat looked down at their hands, smiling as they walked in together. The restaurant looked fancy and everyone seemed to be dressed up which made her thankful that she took the time to get all dolled up. As they waited to be seated she could sense Jade’s annoyance as the man clicked in his computer. She let out a little soft giggle before the man finally found her reservation.
She followed Jade through the many tables, impressed that she had chose a place like this. “Aw, thanks babe.” She smiled taking a seat and felt a necklace being pulled around her neck. Looking down at the heart at the end of the necklace, it brought a smile to her face. “It’s beautiful, babe…just like you.” She took her hand gently from across the table and placed a soft kiss on it.
“Different?” She raised an eyebrow. “What if always liked them but I just didn’t akwnowledged it, uh?” Jade questioned...
“That’s…different of you.” She giggled softly. “Of course they’d never replace coffee or I’d question you.”
